Koos van den Hout, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Lucid reached EOL on May 9, 2013. Please see this document for currently supported Ubuntu releases: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases
We were wondering if this is still an issue in a supported release? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com /daily-live/current/ . If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report: apport-collect -p linux <replace-with-bug-number> ** Tags added: bios-outdated-a19 regression-potential ** Attachment removed: "version.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1208068/+attachment/3759426/+files/version.log ** Attachment removed: "output of lspci -vnvn" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1208068/+attachment/3759449/+files/lspci-vnvn.log ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Summary changed: - hibernate fails to switch off the hardware + [Dell Latitude D630] Hibernate fails to switch off the hardware -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1208068 Title: [Dell Latitude D630] Hibernate fails to switch off the hardware To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1208068/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
