Closing the linux (Ubuntu) task as what appears the most sane solution
wouldn't be use an older linux kernel that supports tomoyo-tools 2.4
(which isn't going to happen) but backport a newer version of tomoyo-
tools into Precise.

# lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS
Release: 12.04
PROBLEM: The latest 12.04LTS kernel expects TOMOYO 2.5 policies. However
the version of the TOMOYO tools in 12.04LTS is TOMOYO 2.4.
SYMPTOM: Kernel panic on policy loading attempt.
REPRODUCE: Install linux-image-3.2.0-36-generic (3.2.0-36.57). Install
tomoyo-tools (2.4.0-20111025-3). Initialize TOMOYO policy. Reboot with
kernel option "security=tomoyo" and observe panic.
+
+ WORKAROUND: Copy tomoyo-tools-2.5 package from Ubuntu 12.10's repository
+ into Ubuntu 12.04's repository.
