Upon testing this on a 12.04 instance, I was unable to replicate with a
plain apt-get install nginx-light. Can you confirm that this was the
first time you installed nginx-light on the system, or try doing an
`dpkg remove --purge nginx-light nginx-common` and then redo the `apt-
get install nginx-light` command and see if this error happens again?

(Comments: If this is a clean install then nginx-common might've gotten
ignored, which could cause this. Or, if this is an upgraded install,
this could be an issue where the /etc/nginx/sites-available/default file
doesn't exist because it was removed.)
