I received the following error message on a recent apt-get upgrade:

Apt-file pointed me in the direction of where those files were coming from:
% apt-file search
/usr/share/app-install/desktop/sonic-visualiser:x-sonicvisualiser-layer.desktop
app-install-data:
/usr/share/app-install/desktop/sonic-visualiser:x-sonicvisualiser-layer.desktop
% apt-file search
/usr/share/app-install/desktop/sonic-visualiser:x-sonicvisualiser.desktop
app-install-data:
/usr/share/app-install/desktop/sonic-visualiser:x-sonicvisualiser.desktop
...which is why I'm filing this in "app-install-data" and not "software-center."
