Sorry for the late response. Somehow I managed to solve the problem, but I made the mistake of not keeping the problematic branch around, so I can't reproduce the problem any more. Also, I can't find any full path stored in any Bazaar configuration file.
I can't assure you but I'd say I already looked for the path in the different configuration files. At the time it seemed to me as if the path was constructed somewhere but without replacing 'username' with its value. Sorry I can't give you more information.
