In continuation of my previous email, while using (update-manager:18947) it
dispalyed as follows:
*IBUS*-WARNING **: The owner of /home/dell-1310/.config/ibus/bus is not
root!

it is brought to your notice, since I felt there is may some connection
with not working of installed Ibus - which failed to configure the kannada
lang - itrans-kn-phonetic.
