Could osspd be backported into precise?
I'm trying to run an VMware Virtual Machine with .vmx file containing
sound.virtualDev = "sb16". This feature of emulating an ancient Creative Sound
Blaster 16 sound card really needs a /dev/dsp file.
osspd works fine in raring.
