it works on the MBP 6,2 now with kernel 3.8.0.28 However I have a similar issue with a MacBook Pro with Retina display (15").
In order to get the machine to sleep, I have to open system settings / power management and just click on the button to sleep when the lid is closed. This does the trick. I don't know what is done that suspend to RAM is so error prone these days. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1072360 Title: [Macbook Pro 6,2] Suspend to RAM fails (non-free: nvidia wl) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1072360/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
