The problem is still the same (as described in post #1 ) with the latest upstream release-candidate of kernel 3.11 (r5).
octavian@octavian-tm2:~$ uname -r 3.11.0-031100rc5-generic however there was no package "linux-image-extra*" or "pae" (like listed in the wiki). PS: I've tested some more, seems like the periode, my PC hangs is a bit random but on average it's still the same amount of time as before doing BIOS and kernel-mainline upgrades. ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream kernel-bug-exists-upstream-v3.11-rc5 ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed ** Changed in: linux Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1062077 Title: [HP TouchSmart tm2-2010eg] Linux hangs with: "[drm:atom_op_jump] *ERROR* atombios stuck in loop for more than 5secs aborting" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/1062077/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
