Please include your Xorg.0.log when reporting X bugs. Here I think your issue stems from gnome-desktop not detecting your monitor's EDID information, but cannot be certain without the Xorg.0.log as it also could be HorizSync VertRefresh values being guesstimated incorrectly, or TV Out being enabled.
