Well.
With '-L4', cron will log all failed jobs. So, if you do not see any
output, that means it did not fail. For other possible values for '-L',
see 'man cron'.
Please note that "did not fail" is NOT the same as "it did what I
wanted."
Now, I hope you realise that redshift will not really work if started by
cron. Redshift requires X, and cron runs outside X.
I am putting this bug back into INCOMPLETE, on its way to INVALID (not a
bug), in order to allow your input. But this is certainly not a bug.
