This seems to be occurring more now in Ubuntu 13.04 as indicated on the
error tracker, perhaps due to the following apport change.
* Enable suid_dumpable (core dumps of setuid binaries). This has
always been safe for us, as we set a core pipe handler, but the
kernel now protects against one not being set:

Not specifically, because of this change but because we are trying to
submit more crashes because of the change.
