I have experienced 2 different problems, both freezes that need me to pull the plug on my machine. 1. kernel panic... solution: I have installed version 3.8.8 and I haven't seen it since. I have almost a full day of use. 2. graphic freeze... I am on the opne source drivers at the moment tho I have tried the other ones as well with pretty much the same result. I have a Dell Inspiron 1764
