Public bug reported:
I am pretty sure this problem is related to my own failure to
complete the configuration of one or more other packages.
And since this involves a legacy distro, 'Ubuntu 10.04', I do not
expect this issue to be elevated to, high priority.
I will update this as soon as I have eliminated the variable.
