My crash just happened when I logged in!  (-:

Even without a crash, the audio volume control widget consistently hides the 
drop down output when I click on it.  
In effect, the xfce4-indicator-plugin audio widget is totally unusable.  
Work-around: Copy the Pulse Audio Volume Control widget to Panel 0 (awkward but 
functional).
