I think this was fixed for Ubuntu 13.10 with https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glipper/2.4-4
glipper should autostart so there's no reason to need to start it manually from the Dash. On the other hand, the appindicator support is broken in Ubuntu 13.10, see bug 1203888 for more details. ** Also affects: glipper (Ubuntu Raring) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: glipper (Ubuntu Saucy) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: glipper (Ubuntu Saucy) Status: New => Fix Released ** Changed in: glipper (Ubuntu Saucy) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: glipper (Ubuntu Raring) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: glipper (Ubuntu Raring) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: glipper (Ubuntu Saucy) Importance: Low => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069858 Title: Glipper does not appear in the Dash To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glipper/+bug/1069858/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
