Blockers:
* The team that's looking after this in Ubuntu should be subscribed to bugs

* The source contains a couple waf binaries:
E: lucene++ source: source-contains-waf-binary waf
E: lucene++ source: source-contains-waf-binary scripts/llvm/waf
http://lintian.debian.org/tags/source-contains-waf-binary.html

Comments:
* Has tests, clean packaging, clean build.

* No symbols files, but I forgive because it's a C++ library.

* Vcs-Bzr and Vcs-Browser should have the standard warning about the
team noticing changes [1]

* Debian doesn't have this packaged. They haven't needed this yet?

* Upstream seems minimally involved these days [2]. They had to be
poked to release their first tarball in 3 years. They have only vague
plans to keep up with Java Lucene. Lucene++ may still be our best
option, but are we prepared for minimal upstream investment?

[1] # If you aren't a member of ~[team] but need to upload packaging changes,
# just go ahead. ~[team] will notice and sync up the code again.
