Hi, I'm still encountering this problem and it's more than just the mouse freezing. There is lots of unusual beahviour affecting my usb devices. The mouse misbehaving is usually the first symptom. Most times I have to reboot. It has made my Compaq desktop almost useless on some days. I've resorted to adding a second mouse to "take over" but that just delays the inevitable reboot.
Is it possible for me to wind back the usb drivers to 11.10 as that's the only Ubuntu release in the last few years that hasn't caused the problem. I'd be tempted to buy a new PC but am reluctant as I'm not sure I wouldn't encounter the same problem -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1181897 Title: Mouse freezes randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1181897/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
