Tom Mercelis, I have wiped the array all the way down to the individual disk partition tables multiple times and the issue still persisted for me. I have finally solved this problem by switching to CentOS last night. Looks like that's going to be the only solution to this for a while, since this issue has been open for a year and a half and they haven't done much to solve it.
