Public bug reported:
Even on the newest systems I've tested Ubuntu 13.04 and 12.04.3 on, the
Software Center always seems to be one of the few apps to take the
longest to load. This is unacceptable, as the Ubuntu Software Center is
a main feature and dealbreaker with Ubuntu users, but having such a slow
application on by default degrades the quality of the software in the
general publics' and Ubuntu users' eyes of Ubuntu, thus can lead to a
loss in Ubuntu users or a slower-than-"normal" addition of new users to
the Ubuntu fanbase.
Please fix this problem, it's simply ridiculous, once more, for the
Software Center to take that long to load.
