What incompatibility is this? Where does this recommendation of PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 come from?
The package in saucy already uses PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60, per upstream's recommendations (bug #1173073). We certainly will not change the setting again without a clear rationale. For that matter, considering the current setting is a workaround for what I understand to be pulse misbehavior, and saucy is still under development, if there is a further issue we should be trying first to get this fixed in pulseaudio for 13.10. ** Changed in: skype (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1219407 Title: Pack Skype for Saucy with PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=30 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/skype/+bug/1219407/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
