Public bug reported:
I get the following error with automysqlbackup:
"-- Warning: Skipping the data of table mysql.event. Specify the
--events option explicitly."
in an email sent to me. I installed from apt-get (after a full purge).
Description: Ubuntu 13.04
Release: 13.04
automysqlbackup:
Installed: 2.6+debian.2-2
Candidate: 2.6+debian.2-2
Version table:
*** 2.6+debian.2-2 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ raring/universe amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Expected: no ERRORS REPORTED email
Happened: got errors
A possible workaround:
add "--ignore-table=mysql.event" to the mysqldump command in the script
** Affects: automysqlbackup (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
