Hi there. Yes it still affects me. I am still on 12.04, and unfortunately as I have to use this laptop for work, I can't risk trying out development releases.
My work around is to simply not hot plug the monitor (i.e. shut down if I want to remove or add the 27" monitor), so if no-one else is bothered by this I am happy for it to be closed. The only things this affects really is my discussion with people about Ubuntu: "oh yes Ubuntu is great, apart from it crashes if I unplug my monitor...". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/963933 Title: System freeze when hotplug 27" monitor in Ubuntu 12.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/963933/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
