This has been fixed for Saucy, and the package has been removed.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure there's much that can be done for earlier
releases which have this problem.

However, if pdumpfs returns to Debian or Ubuntu, an attempt can be made
to backport the pdumpfs dependency to any remaining stable releases that
have the pdumpfs-rsync package.
