Yesterday evening I flashed the BIOS of my NB100-11J (thanks to a utility called Rufus (http://rufus.akeo.ie/)). It wasn't easy, I had to strip the flash utility (flashit.exe) and the new ROM-image from iso and floppy images.
The BIOS was upgraded from version 1.20 to version 2.10. (I could not find a newer version.) Anyway, after reboot the system halted within the hour. So the new BIOS had no affect. Afterwards I rebooted from the previous kernel version.
