I'm also having this problem with Ubuntu 13.10 (saucy) beginning with kernels after 3.10.0-6-generic #17-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jul 26 18:29:23 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux. I tried manually loading the modules hid, hid_generic,usb_hid by modifying the script /usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/local-top/cryptroot and regenerating the initial ramdisk, but this didn't help. How could i further debug this?
