Bug is still there after the last update. In roaming mode I still can ping domains such as google.com, but still no ability of Firefox to access a domain such as google.com unless you disable IPv6, and no ability of the Update manager or Synaptic to access the repositories.
If I add a domain to the /etc/hosts file, with roaming mode enabled, Firefox works perfectly to that domain, and if I add the necessary domains for updates to the hosts file, updates run perfectly. It is possible that it is an incomplete resolution of DNS in some way. -- [Gutsy] Network Manager not setting up the network correctly (regression) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/126301 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
