the problem is that the kernel in : http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/gutsy/main/installer-i386/current/images/hd-media/ is not the same as the one in the last cd-image from gutsy
it worked using http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/gutsy/main/installer-i386/20070308ubuntu8/images/hd-media/ I think there should be a mechanism so that current, always points to the kernel used in the last cdrom-image, or there should be another link with the name of the cdrom-image... I think having the last hd-media kernel make no sence, if there is no alternative cdrom image corresponding -- [gutsy 7.10 tribe 3]: system cant find cdrom modules https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/39508 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
