I've recreated using by adding and installing packages from the xorg- edger's PPA. The error message included in the details dialog box raised by DistUpgradeCache.py included the following information:
"E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages." I don't think is extra bit of information provides any value to Ubuntu users trying to debug the situation and given that a bug report is not automatically created with this information, I think it should just be removed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1221307 Title: The update process raring->saucy crashes at calculating changes state To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1221307/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
