Public bug reported:
Hi there,
ports.ubuntu.com does not currently have any AAAA records, making it
unreachable from ipv6-only networks.
Ubuntu on embedded devices (beagle bone, arm based) seems to be using
ports.ubuntu.com to download packages and security updates. When used to
build sensor networks, connecting embedded devices to ipv6 only networks
makes sense, as it saves scare ipv4 addresses.
archive.ubuntu.com has been reachable over ipv6 for quite a long time
but does not carry packages for the armhf architecture, unfortunately.
Could anyone add AAAA records to ports.ubuntu.com?
Thanks in advance!
