I had this issue in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Bluetooth is not detected.WIFI works fine.
I had tried a lot of solutions from forums but I had no lucky. Seems that for 
Kernel 3.8 is not an available driver for this Ralink RT3290 Blueetooth/Wifi 
Card.

Cannot compile it.
cp rtbth.ko ~/bluetooth cd ..errror rtbth.ko file does not exist...

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
