Hi, I've got a Compaq Presario B1207, and met the problem a few days ago. (Fresh Ubuntu 13.04 install)
I've tried to upgrade to 3.9.0 stable from the PPA sources (http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/), but no luck till now. I didn't got to the point where I could test the pm functions. On boot there is no WiFi, and indicator-bluetooth crashes. (I suppose also no bluetooth at all, but I forgot to check that) Wlan is Broadcom BCM4311. It seems all the wireless things go away with 3.9.0. I've got pretty slow internet connection right now, I'll check other kernels as soon as I get back to the civilisation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1094722 Title: [HP Compaq nx7400] Raring: regression: fan keeps spinning at full speed after suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1094722/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
