Hello

…which version of Ubuntu desktop did not suffer from this issue?

I would like to ask a short question. I understand that this issue does
not enjoy an immediate resolution and I sincerely appreciate that there
are good hard working people looking into this.

In the meantime, I would be grateful if any one delegated to this issue
could perhaps let me know which version of Ubuntu desktop did not suffer
from this issue. I am happy to downgrade on a second partition.
Unfortunately for me, sound is one of the reasons I installed Ubuntu,

I hope you can understand and again, I am much obliged to all your
attention.

With kindest regards
Alex Santos
