The background noise is unacceptably high when recording with my
internal mic.
If I drop the recording volume from Sound Settings this does not help --
volume of both the background noise and my voice drops.
I have to test this with "parec" from the command line because Sound
Recorder does not record; pressing the Record button does nothing.
