Running feisty on Thinkpad T40 with 2.6.20-16-generic kernel. Trying to connect to a known-good access point with WEP encryption. Having many problems with the ipw2100 driver on this host. Cannot typically associate to the WAP. If I mess around enough to get it to associate, dhclient doesn't work. Looking at the dhcp server logs, the client never seems to request an IP.
02:02.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless LAN 2100 3B Mini PCI Adapter (rev 04) This same laptop was connecting fine to the AP when it was running Windows XP so I know 100% that the network is ok. -- ipw2100/2200 unable to associate with access point https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/30712 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
