After a fresh install of Saucy (Daily Build version) the touchpad is working by default, without need of enabling it via the Fn key.
I'm actually using 3.11.0-8-generic, and have been testing it for some hours and seems fine. The touchpad works with al functions enabled (also two-finger scroll). It only happened once that deactivating the touchpad using the Fn key, I was not able to reenable it again. It worked again by default after reboot. I will let you know if the fix is stable in the next days.
