Hi Liis, I'm not sure how this could have happened - there shouldn't have been any updates to 10.10 that could have caused this. But I think your best bet at this point is to install this package:
https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-audio-dev/+archive/alsa-daily/+files /alsa-hda-dkms_0.201204101019%7Emaverick1_all.deb Then reboot and see if it works. If it does not help, uninstall the package again.
