Well, I'm not the package maintainer in either Debian or Ubuntu. Is it
really my job to put your project's paperwork together? I've reported
the issue, IMO that's all you can reasonably expect from an end user,
unless it's a bug you need me to test a fix for.

Keeping Ubuntu in sync with upstream Debian sources should be Ubuntu's
job to keep on top of, not the end user's to constantly report.
