I have two separate motherboards that have integrated Realtek RTL8111B
network interfaces. They are:
Asus P5B-VM
Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R
They both exhibit the same behavior. When I'm copying files TO them,
performance is great. When copying files FROM them, the performance is
horrendously bad (<10Mbit speed). ethtool and my gigabit switch (Linksys
SRW2024) both report the connection as 1000Mbit, full duplex. The
problem exists in both feisty, and the current gutsy.
