Hello. I'm having the same error and it's preventing me from upgrading
to 13.10 right now. If I do ``sudo apt-get install -f`` as you suggest,
I get:

cannot configure (current status `half-installed')
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of
linux-headers-3.8.0-30-generic:
