I just tested the i386 version and got the same result. So far I have tested the following ISOs:
saucy-desktop-amd64 (ubuntu gnome daily build) burnt at 4x ubuntu-gnome-13.10-beta2-desktop-amd64, md5sum checked, burnt at 4x ubuntu-13.10-beta2-desktop-amd64, md5sum checked, burnt at 8x ubuntu-13.10-beta2-desktop-i386, md5sum checked, burnt at 16x I said above that: "also when I burnt them with Brassero I ticked the box which says something like 'Verify after burning'" but actually Brassero doesn't have such a check box. :-) however, it does suggest that as part of the burning process it calculates a checksum of the disk after burning. So I am prety sure that the downloaded ISO matches the DVD. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1232924 Title: Saucy Beta2 installer fails on HP ML115 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1232924/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
