thunar 1.6.3-1ubuntu1
Thunar freezes when browsing samba network shares (windows networks).
Expected thunar not to freeze.
Reproduce: Go through right pane Network->Browse Networks->Windows Network:
List of shares visible but thunar freezes when clicking share (waited more than
1 hour) Pressing Close(x) gives "This window might be busy and is not
responding. Do you want to terminate the application?"
Alternative start thunar from commandline:
$ Thunar smb://<PC>/<share>
Thunar starts up asks password and accepts it, but then freezes.
Tested and reproduced on
Live xubuntu 13.10 20131001
Live Ubuntu 13.10 20131001, with universe repository enabled and install of
thunar package
Installed xubuntu 13.10 20131001 with all packages updated
Running "nautilus smb://<PC>/<share>" in Live Ubuntu 13.10 20131001
works as expected.
