Pretty sure, because currently I'm unable to build the OpenGL driver for 
MythTV, Xv was the only video renderer I was able to build.  In fact, 
the previous version of MythTV I was using I believe did use OpenGL and 
did not have the corruption, it was only visible on the desktop before 
MythTV started.

I'll try to get you a screenshot tonight.
