The answer in AskUbuntu does not resolve the bug. This bug is clearly related to http://askubuntu.com/questions/109255/i-cant-select-updates- in-update-manager, the same packages are involved with a small difference: his bug includes translation updates. I don't know if Turkish packages have their own particular problems; I guess language- selector developers know it well. I tried "sudo apt-get clean", "sudo apt-get autoremove" and "sudo apt-get upgrade", but they didn't work, the packages shows in Update Manager exactly as in the begining. "Be patient and wait" could be done only if its not a serious security matter (the Manage classify them as "Important security updates"). I suggest to leave this visible for let the language-selector developers to check and compare.
