Public bug reported:
The problem is described in this forum thread:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3164165
I installed Kubuntu Tribe 4, but I found that I could not install any
package from multiverse via us.archive.ubuntu.com or ftp.ussg.iu.edu.
Further investigation revealed that aptitude had not downloaded the
binary package list for multiverse (although it did download the source
package list). Manually adding the multiverse binary package list
solved the problem. As stated in the forum thread, it could be a
checksum issue, but the sums seem to match.
