Public bug reported:
Hi,
The bug is the same as here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/282734
except that it shows in Sylpheed instead of Evolution.
Version numbers:
The Sylpheed version is Version 3.4.0beta5 (Build 1149)
The bogofilter version is 1.2.4+dfsg1-2
The distribution is Lubuntu Saucy testing (RC, up to date as of today).
The error message is:
"(sylpheed:2293): Sylpheed-WARNING **: inc_drop_message: junk filter command
returned 3
Can't open file 'wordlist.db' in directory '/home/melodie/.bogofilter'.
error #2 - No such file or directory.
Remember to register some spam and ham messages before you
use bogofilter to evaluate mail for its probable spam status!
(sylpheed:2293): Sylpheed-WARNING **: inc_drop_message: junk filter command
returned 3
"
To fix it:
I marked one of the messages as ham (as I already have a custom action
configured) and the desired wordlist.db file was created in the ~/.bogofilter
directory.
To reproduce the bug, install Sylpheed, configure or have a ready made
config from another distribution, and once started to use install
bogofilter (for bogofilter is not default installed in the distro).
Configure the general preferences to use bogofilter (for junk:
"bogofilter -N -s -I" and for ham "bogofilter -n -S -I") and select
bogofilter as filtering tool.
A suggest?
I would suggest providing a wordlist.db file with the bogofilter package for
the first run.
Regards,
Mélodie
