This bug affects me after I tried to active the 'hibernate' option in the menu by following these instructions: https://help.ubuntu.com/12.04 /ubuntu-help/power-hibernate.html.
Instead of getting the 'hibernate' option, I instead got the 'restart' option described by this bug report.
