There seems to be only one commit that was introduced for the aacraid
driver between .4 and .5:

Before we bisect, I built a test kernel with this commit reverted.  Can you 
test this kernel and see if it resolves this bug?  It can be downloaded from:

http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1237392/

You will need to install both the linux-image and linux-image-extra .deb
packages.
