This re-emerged in Linux Mint 15 Xfce Thunar 1.6.2 Any right click menu would be affected in this way, on desktop, but very often on links in Firefox: often one right click will not be enough. Holding down the button would always work. But in many cases right- clicking multiple times would invoke the menu.
I have added the line "gtk-menu-popup-delay = 0" in all the files that I found with the name resembling 'gtkrc', in home and themes folder (including gtkrc-xfce) and also in the theme folder. I cannot tell for sure what was the decisive file. But I have the impression that not only .gtkrc-2.0" in ~/ is important, but also the file `usr/share/themes/name_of_theme/gtk-2.0/gtkrc`. When I changed the theme the problem re-appeared, no matter the fact that .gtkrc-2.0" in ~/ still had that line. But keeping a theme with gtrk file containing the line and removing the line from .gtkrc-2.0" in ~/ also seems to re- create the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/127372 Title: no thunar contextmenu with GTK setting "gtk-menu-popup-delay = 0" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/thunar/+bug/127372/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
