Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
Performed online update from feisty to gutsy, twelve hours of packages
being downloaded, then all hell broke loose with error box after error
box as the upgrade did its thing.
update-manager quit when it could go no further, then I manually recovered via
apt-get -f install
apt-get update
apt-get -u dist-upgrade
rebooted, X runs but only into a fail-safe session
many things are now broken, each time I click on the "crash report
detected" icon it brings up another of these web pages so I lodge
another bug.
